Happy Friday! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? We’re going out to dinner with my parents, taking the girls to the park, getting together with some friends, and hopefully going swimming. So it should be a fun but easy weekend!
Here again are my Friday Favorites where I share the things I’m loving lately.
Last week the girls and I were in Target walking down the candle aisle and this one caught my eye. I was initially drawn to the name 🤗but then I smelled it and…wow! It smells just like a fresh, sweet pineapple! A lot of candles have a “fake” or overly strong smell, which I don’t like, but this one smells like the real thing. I’m going to get a few more because they would make great hostess, housewarming, and birthday gifts!
Last night we went to our friends’ house for a cookout with two other families. I knew I wanted to bring a dessert and while I considered making my lemon pie recipe, I was really in the mood for something with chocolate. So, I decided to give this one a try. It was super easy and very delicious! It’s basically just layers of store bought ice cream sandwiches, whipped topping, toffee pieces, and caramel & chocolate sauces.
Lately this has been my go-to lip balm. One side is a sugar scrub to exfoliate your lips, the other side is a lighted tinted moisturizing gloss. How awesome is that?
4. Kids 4th of July Apparel:
I was looking online for some shorts for Emma and noticed there are a lot of cute 4th of July clothing items for kids! For fun, I put together a collection of some of my favorites. How cute are these?? I think Lydia would look so cute in the 1-piece bathing suit and Emma would love those sunglasses!
